What is automotive disks
Wheeling discs is an increase in their width, which gives the car more attractive look, because the details look much more unusual and more interesting. Usually the wipers are carried out on standard factory steel stamped discs. In the people, such products are called "stamping". There are two methods for increasing the width of such discs.

The magnitude of the beating is measured using a ruler. For this, the ruler is applied and vertically, and horizontally. If the beating does not exceed one or two millimeters, it is believed that it is normal. But if the beating exceeds two millimeters in any plane, the disc is corrected on special equipment.

The main disc is cut to the inside in the outer rim area, preferably closer to the middle. Then the rim dismantle and throw out. It has no need for anymore. As a result, such a picture is obtained: only the internal rim remains from the second disk, which then becomes outdoor on the disk-based.
The disc-base is dressed on the hub of the rear axle and fix the nuts. Next, wear what remained from the second "stamping". The second rim is equal to the first and eliminate the beating. Then in several places grab welding - where cuts were made.
Now you need to take the suture sealant and apply to the center of the strained "stamping". Of course, this is done before painting. When the sealant finds it, remove the extra papers or the chisels. Then goes painting.
The second method of cutting disks
The second method is somewhat different from the first. One "stamping" in this case is collected into two parts. Then in the middle weld the metal strip. This method is more economical than the first, because only one set will be required.
The metal strip of three millimeter thick is smoothly cut and its width is selected in advance. After that, the band must be brought using special rollers. That part of the disk, which remained with the hub, stick together with the metal strip by welding.
Then grab and the second half of the disk from the side of the strip. All seams begin to boil well to "stamping" suddenly not led. If you are able to automatically weld the rotating item, it is better to choose it. So, the struck "stamping" will be significantly stronger.
Now we clean the seams, it is better to do it on the lathe. To make sure the proper geometry of the discs, it is advisable to roll them even before painting.
At the last stage you need to paint discs. Painting them better by powder composition. To enhance the design, it is advisable to make additional welding seam on the side hidden from the eyes. The disc is ready to use and collect it without a camera. If the camera is still mounted, then in advance with a drill you need to drill a hole for nipple in the disk. First you need to drill with a small drill, and then the hole increases to the desired size.
