Secondary shaft, how to remove it, step by step instructions

1. First of all, we remove the secondary shaft with the checkp.
   
2. With the help of a videos with overlays, we climb the secondary shaft. To not damage it, the vice must be tightened so that the device can be tilted with an effort of the hands.
   
3. Next, remove the locking ring, which is installed on the front ring of the shaft under the inner ring of the front bearing, for which it is necessary to compress the last from the shaft using two screwdrivers.
   
4. Then you should open the vice, then refer to two supports the first gear gear.
   
5. Next, it is planted from the shaft the main gear of the main transmission from the gear of the first transmission. This should be done with the help of a hammer, but the blows must be applied through a wooden gasket.
   
6. We liberate the shaft from the main gear gear.
7. Then remove the first gear gear.
   
8. We label the blocking ring (1) relative to the coupling (2).
   
9. Remove with a synchronizer blocking ring first transmission.
10. Again, we clamp in the vice of the shaft and remove the locking circle of the synchronizer hub.

21. Remove the synchronizer with a third-time blocking ring and label the circle (1) regarding the coupling (2).
    
22. Remove the third gear gear.
    

The secondary shaft, which defects you need to pay attention to the inspection of the shaft

1. Check the status of the shaft. When signs of wear spending, it must be replaced.
   
2. Check the state of the gear. If there is a chip, wear, scaling on the inner holes, the gears require replacement.
   
3. Check if the bearing rotates easily. If the balls or rolling tracks are faulty, as well as the availability of the backlash, you need to change it to the new one.
4. Check the status of the blocking rings of synchronizers. If there are chips and fears on the toothed crowns, and the cones have been developed, the blocking rings must be replaced.
5. Check the gap between the locking rings and gears.
   
6. If there are defects on stubborn or locking rings, the replacement is required.

1. Before assembling the secondary shaft, clean the oil canals.
   
2. The assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
   
3. To press the rear bearing of the shaft, use a suitable mandrel, the force must be applied only to the inner bearing ring.
