Disadvantages of alloy wheels

But most of the alloy discs has a weak ability to physically effect.

If there is a small crack, the damaged disk can still be restored using argon welding.

But the longitudinal crack is not repaired at all in any way!

And any physical impact will not have a significant damage to a wrought disk. The only drawback - during operation in winter conditions, aluminum can be covered with ugly oxides, which, however, is removed by polishing.

Forged discs weigh less alloy (5.5 kg against 6.5 kg), which reduces the unsappressible mass of cars to the lowest level - fuel consumption by car will decrease, and dynamic characteristics will increase dramatically. Forged disks are more expensive.

If the car is under thorough tuning, then the installation of light and durable wrought wheel drives is considered a practically obligatory business.
