The purpose of the ignition system is the ignition of the air-fuel mixture of the gasoline engine. The ignition of the mixture is carried out from the spark, so a different system is also called the spark-ranking system. Depending on the method of controlling the ignition process, there are such variations of ignition systems - electronic (microprocessor), non-contact (transistor), contact.

In the contact system, the accumulation control system, as well as the distribution of electricity over the cylinders, is performed using a mechanical device - a distributor of the distributor. The subsequent development of this ignition system was the transistor contact system, the primary chain of the ignition coil of which involves the use of the transistor switch.

Compared to the contact system, in the contactless ignition system, a transistor switch is used to control the accumulation of energy, which interacts with the contactless pulse sensor. The transistor switch in this system plays the role of the breaker. As for the distribution of high voltage current, it is performed using a mechanical distributor.

The electronic control unit is used in the electronic system, with which the control of the accumulation and distribution of electricity is carried out. Early ignition is distinguished by the fact that the combustion procedure of diesel fuel ends even until the piston comes to the position required it. 3. From this point, check the dispenser's housing for one or two degrees clockwise, and then clamp its retainer. The last item must be performed that the ignition is not too "early", resulting in an excessive resistance to the rotation of the crankshaft.

Setting the ignition for strobe, step-by-step instruction

1. First of all, using the key to "13", we must weaken the protracted fastening nut of the ignition distribution plate.
2. Next, we connect a strobe to the battery to the "plus" terminal connect the desired clamp of the device (with a plus mark), and we attach the mass to the "minus" terminal.
3. If the system has a vacuum advanced regulator, it means you need to disassemble a vacuum hose.
4. Then you need to focus on the pulley light from the device.

1. We turn the crankshaft in such a way that the pulley label coincides with the required label on the timing cover, and the ignition interrupter runner indicated the high-voltage wire of the first cylinder.

3. Then one wire of the control lamp is 12V connected to the wire, which goes to the ignition coil from the traver, and the other to the "mass" of the vehicle.

7. Fix the position of the traver at which the control light lights up.
